Embroidered or Printed Cap Logo?
A cap is a common accessory paired with a uniform order or given as a gift, but not every cap embroiders well — the cap’s fabric determines whether embroidery or printing is the better choice.
When to embroider a cap logo
Thick fabric like twill embroiders well — durable, sharp stitching that keeps the cap’s shape. This is the standard choice for twill caps used as uniforms or long-lasting gifts. See computerized embroidery for detail.
When to print instead
Thin or glossy fabric (nylon caps) is harder to embroider cleanly — stitching can pucker or pull the fabric. For these caps, heat transfer or heat-transfer vinyl works better. See heat-transfer vinyl and heat transfer printing.
Quantity and cost
Neither embroidery nor printing has a minimum order at Startee — accessories can be ordered on their own or alongside a uniform run. See custom printed caps, aprons & promotional gifts for more.
