Ordering Custom Caps: Prices, Minimums and How to Order

A logo cap is the corporate gift, uniform accessory and event merch that gets used longest — people wear it again and again, and your logo goes with them. This guide covers the ordering side: choosing a style, decoration spots, quantity pricing and the steps to order. If you’re still deciding between embroidery and print, start with embroidered or printed cap logo.

Choosing a cap style

StyleConstructionBest for
6-panel twill capSix structured cotton twill panelsUniforms and corporate gifts; sides and back can be decorated too
Trucker, two-panel frontTwo front fabric panels with a center seam, mesh backOutdoor events, running, teams; mid-size logos
Trucker, seamless frontOne seamless front panel, mesh backLarge logos and wide text that a center seam would cut through

All three share one shape and come in one adult size: a back strap with a metal buckle adjusts from 54 to 60 cm, with a brass, silver or black buckle.

Embroidery and print positions

  • Front center — the main spot, on every style.
  • Both sides and the back above the strap opening — on the 6-panel cap.
  • Top and underside of the brim — a small detail that shows when the wearer looks down or takes the cap off.
  • The mesh on trucker caps isn’t decorated.

What’s different at Startee: adding positions doesn’t change the price. Embroider the logo on the front, print a slogan on the back and add the event name under the brim, and the unit price stays the same as a one-logo cap.

Coloring each part

Each part of the cap gets its own color: front panels, back panels or mesh, brim top and underside, top button and strap. Stitching follows the color of each part so seams stay discreet. Matching your brand palette — say, a white crown with the brim and button in your main color — usually looks better than a plain one-color cap at no extra cost.

Embroidery or print?

A logo with few colors and clear lines suits machine embroidery — raised, durable and shape-holding. A multi-color, gradient or fine-detail logo suits high-quality DTF. At Startee both cost the same, so you choose by the logo, not the budget. More in embroidered or printed cap logo and how embroidery is priced by stitch count.

Custom cap price list

Quantity (total caps in the order)Unit price, VAT included
20–49 pcs200,000 VND
50–99 pcs150,000 VND
100+ pcs99,000 VND
  • The same price for embroidery or print, every style and every decoration spot.
  • Minimum 20 caps per order, counted across the whole order — designs and styles can be combined to reach a tier.
  • Total-cost tip: from 38 caps, rounding up to 50 is cheaper (38 × 200,000 = 7,600,000 VND vs 50 × 150,000 = 7,500,000 VND); from 67 caps, rounding up to 100 is cheaper (67 × 150,000 = 10,050,000 VND vs 9,900,000 VND).

How to order online

  1. Open Cap Studio and pick a style: 6-panel twill, two-panel-front trucker or seamless-front trucker.
  2. Color each part and choose the buckle color.
  3. Upload a logo (a transparent PNG gives the best embroidery) or add text, and drag it onto each position; sizes are real centimeters on the cap.
  4. Spin the 3D cap to check every angle, enter the quantity, order and pay by VietQR bank transfer.
  5. Each position exports a 300 dpi print file plus a 3D image for the factory; thread colors are confirmed when the sample is made.
  6. Production takes 8 working days, plus delivery.

Preparing your logo

  • Send the original file: a transparent PNG or vector (AI, SVG, PDF). Screenshots and images saved from the web usually pixelate — see preparing a print-ready design file.
  • For embroidery, simplify very thin details and tiny text; the cap front is curved, so a wide logo tends to sit better than a tall one.
  • Need caps for an event? Count back 8 working days of production plus delivery — order earlier around public holidays.
