Custom Embroidered & Printed Caps: Twill and Trucker Caps
A cap is a common accessory paired with a uniform order or given as a gift. For a logo that lasts, choose the right type of cap first, then decide between embroidery and printing based on the logo.
The caps Startee makes
- Cotton twill caps (6-panel baseball caps): thick, structured twill with a metal buckle strap at the back to adjust the fit. The most popular cap for uniforms and corporate gifts.
- Trucker caps: a fabric front with a breathable mesh back, great for outdoor events, running and teams.

Embroidery: the standard choice
Thick twill embroiders very well: raised, sharp stitching that keeps its color and the cap’s shape, and never peels or fades like ink. Embroidery suits logos, text and shapes with few colors and clear lines. See computerized embroidery.

High-quality DTF: for multi-color logos
For a logo with gradients, many colors or detail too fine to embroider, a high-quality DTF print on the front panel reproduces every color sharply, even on dark caps. See DTF printing.

What about thin nylon caps?
Thin nylon caps are hard to embroider cleanly — stitching puckers or pulls the fabric — so many printers switch to DTF or sublimation. Startee doesn’t recommend these caps if you need them to last or to work as a corporate gift: choose a cotton twill or trucker cap for a longer-lasting logo and shape.
Quantity and cost
Neither embroidery nor printing has a minimum order at Startee — accessories can be ordered individually or alongside a uniform order. See custom printed accessories & gifts.
